PACIFIER

My son is 2.5 years old and I want him to stop the pacifier. I believe he will never stop it.

It's natural for parents to be anxious. The most dependent children usually stop using the pacifier around the age of 4-5 and most stop much earlier. Below are some ways you could stop the pacifier habit in your baby:

- Set boundaries (first in the house, in the room, in his bed)

- Keep them busy (talking, playing, laughing, eating)

- Give them the comfort they need

- Tell them a story about where pacifiers go

If all attempts to stop the pacifier fail , don't get in a rushIt may be that your baby needs the comfort that you offer him and it is very reasonable. Everything will be fine!
